Treasure (Psalm 119:72)

from Kids Club 2013 by The Crossing Music

/

about

This song was written to help families at The Crossing memorize the theme verse for Kids Club 2013.

lyrics

God made a map, He calls His word,
with secret paths and trails never heard,
guiding to silver, and treasure untold,
He’s guiding to Christ, our unfading gold.

There in the dark, sin tricks our eyes,
we're seeing gold, where no real gold lies.
All is not lost here, yeah, God’s word gives light,
that chases darkness and makes our path's bright.

The Law you gave is worth more to me
than thousands of pieces of silver and gold.

Father of lies, he will attack,
but with the sword, we’re fighting back.
God's word is sharpest, and it cuts like steel,
we trust His promise, and know thats it's real.

Treasure his word, inside our hearts.
So He's with us wherever we are.
We call it gold because Christ is inside
and through its pages, find unending life.

What is God's word?
My map!
What is God's word?
My light!
What is God's word?
My sword and treasure!
That lead us to Jesus.
