Infortuna Minor
01:52

2. |

Hail to the Lord's Anointed,
great David's greater Son.
Hail in the time appointed,
his reign on earth begun.
He comes to break oppression,
to set the captive free;
to take away transgression,
and rule in equity.
He comes with succor speedy
to those who suffer wrong;
to help the poor and needy,
and bid the weak be strong;
to give them songs for sighing,
their darkness turn to light,
whose souls, condemned and dying,
are precious in his sight.
He shall come down like showers
upon the fruitful earth;
love, joy, and hope, like flowers,
spring in his path to birth.
Before him on the mountains,
shall peace, the herald, go,
and righteousness, in fountains,
from hill to valley flow.
To him shall prayer unceasing
and daily vows ascend;
his kingdom still increasing,
a kingdom without end.
The tide of time shall never
his covenant remove;
his name shall stand forever;
that name to us is love.

Onward Go
03:56
|
|||
Oft in sorrow, oft in woe,
onward Christians, onward go.
Fight the fight, maintain the strife
strengthened with the Bread of Life.
Onward Christians, onward go;
join the war and face the foe.
Know that much does yet remain,
dreary is the long campaign.
Let not sorrow dim your eye,
soon shall every tear be dry.
Let not fears your course impede,
great your strength if great your need.
Onward then in battle move,
more than conquer’rs you shall prove;
though opposed by many foes,
Christian soldiers, onward go.
Carry on, carry on, with His cross He bears you on.
Arm Thy soldiers, mighty Lord,
with shield of faith and Spirit’s sword.
Forth to battle may we go
and boldly fight against the foe;
with banner of the cross unfurled,
His grace renews our groaning world.
His victory won long ago,
onward Christians, onward go…

Be Thou My Vision
03:54
|
|||
Be Thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.
Thou my best thought, by day or by night,
waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Be Thou my wisdom, and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,
Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of Heaven, my treasure Thou art.
Be Thou my battle shield, my sword for the fight;
be Thou my armor, and be Thou my might;
Thou my soul’s shelter, and Thou my high tower:
raise Thou me heavenward, O power of my power.
High King of Heaven, my victory won,
may I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my vision, O Ruler of all.

A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing:
for still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
his craft and power are great, and, armed with cruel hate,
on earth is not his equal.
Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing;
were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God’s own choosing:
dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He;
Lord Sabaoth, His Name, from age to age the same,
and He must win the battle.
And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us,
we will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us:
the Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him;
his rage we can endure, for lo, his doom is sure,
one little word shall fell him.
That word above all earthly powers, no thanks to them, abideth;
the Spirit and the gifts are ours through Him who with us sideth:
let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also;
the body they may kill: God’s truth abideth still,
His kingdom is forever.
His kingdom is forever.
His kingdom is forever.

See, the Conqueror mounts in triumph; see the King in royal state,
riding on the clouds, His chariot, to His heavenly palace gate.
Hark! the choirs of angel voices joyful alleluias sing,
and the portals high are lifted to receive their heavenly King.
Who is this that comes in glory, with the trump of jubilee?
Lord of battles, God of armies, He has gained the victory.
He who on the cross did suffer, He who from the grave arose,
He has vanquished sin and Satan, He by death has spoiled His foes.
Holy Ghost, llluminator, shed Thy beams upon our eyes,
help us to look up with Stephen, and to see beyond the skies,
where the Son of Man in glory standing is at God’s right hand,
beckoning on His martyr army, succoring His faithful band.
See Him, who has gone before us.
See Him, who is pleading for us.
See Him, who with sound of trumpet,
on the clouds will come. He will come again...
Glory be to God the Father, glory be to God the Son,
dying, risen, ascending for us, who the heavenly realm has won;
glory to the Holy Spirit, to one God in persons Three;
glory both in earth and Heaven, glory, endless glory, be.

Sanctus (Parts I & II)
05:09
|
|||
Holy, holy, holy, Lord,
God of power and might.
Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord.
Hosanna (in the highest)
